It was in January 2009 during a trip to Sun City that a friend, Joanita Wolfaardt, challenged me to do more, have a greater purpose & make a difference. That life is not just about the bottomline for the business you work. After 6 months of fasting and prayer I approached my CEO at Camelot Spa, Debbie Merdjan, and asked her if I could start a charity while staying employed by her. She agreed. FEET Charity started in August 2009. Through a friend, Phillip Couvaras, then GM of The Table Bay Hotel, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, it got involved in their CSI project in Lotus River. It supported these children with a second day of food, frequent visits, treats, gifts, clothes, activities, etc. From December 2010 FEET Charity reached out to more projects' children in Melkbosstrand, Table View, Klipheuwel (between Durbanville and Malmesbury), Worcester, Ceres and Cederberg.

• FEET will invest it's funds not in cement and bricks, but directly in the lives of children;
• FEET believe that more children can be reached this way versus setting up a place for less children;
• FEET will function as a 'Lighthouse', i.e. a 'Beacon of Hope';
• FEET Charity intents to officially take hands with Project Joshua to Forever, Encourage & Equip the children of South-Africa Together.
